1st and 2nd-Year Ukrainian
Ukrainian at the beginning and intermediate levels taught at the SLI provides the equivalent of one academic year's worth of study. SLI will be offering Ukrainian in-person during the summer of 2026 on the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh, but can also accommodate students who wish to participate online, synchronously.
Ukrainian classes will meet Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 2:50 pm ET for 5 academic hours per day with a break for lunch. In addition to intensive language classes, students also attend Ukrainian films, lectures on politics and culture, and activities featuring Ukrainian culture on topics such as art, music, movement, and cuisine.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us about your language learning goals in Ukrainian for summer 2026!
