1st Through 4th-Year Slovak
6 Weeks in Pittsburgh
As the only program of its kind in North America, SLI Slovak at the beginning, intermediate, advanced, and 4th-year levels taught at the SLI provides the equivalent of one academic year's worth of study. SLI typically offers Slovak in-person in the in-person format on the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh and sometimes can accommodate online participation depending on the level of demand.
Slovak classes will meet Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 2:50 pm ET for 5 academic hours per day with a break for lunch. In addition to intensive language classes, students also attend Slovak films, lectures on politics and culture, and activities featuring Slovak culture on topics such as art, music, movement, and cuisine.
