Intermediate & Advance BCMS
4 Weeks in Cetinje, Montenegro
Students who have completed a full academic year's equivalent of Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and/or Serbian study are eligible to apply to this abroad program. The abroad portion takes place at the Faculty for Montenegrin Language and Literature in Cetinje, Montenegro – the Historical Royal Capital of Montenegro! While there, students will continue intensive language classes, will attend lectures on history and culture by professors of the Faculty, and will participate in an extensive excursion and culture program to sites throughout Montenegro. Past summers have included trips to Lovćen National Park, Šaško Lake, National Park Biogradska Gora, movie nights, art workshops, and much more.
As this program requires a minimum proficiency in BCMS, an online interview may be requested as a part of the application, in addition to a complete application form (linked below).
